5 foods To boost concentration and brain function but that will also help you with fat loss.

Water:

I know you wanted some miracle food to eat or some super berries, unfortunately the main thing we need is water. Dehydration can happen easily and one of the first things to be effected is the brain. Without water, it could be tough to think properly and you will also be hungry. Grab a pint of water now, remember if you are already feeling thirsty, you are already dehydrated.

Dark Chocolate:

Good quality dark chocolate has lots of health benefits like being high in anti-oxidants, potassium, improving focus and concentration. Studies have shown that dark chocolate can enhance serotonin and endorphin levels, both of which will help our mind to function much better. However, like anything too much will increase your calorie in take as 100g can have around 240 calories in it.

Berries – Blueberries, Raspberries and Strawberries:

Not only good for the top of your porridge but also great for your brain. High in antioxidants and vitamins A, C and also E. They can help blood flow to the brain and potentially help you focus better.

Salmon and Cold Water Fish alike:

High in omega 3 fats, which not only help body composition but help in concentration and mind function. Boasting some great anti inflammatory properties as well to protect our brain cells.

Nuts:

High in vitamin B6, which has been shown to help our cognitive process. Vitamin B6 may directly affect our memory and also concentration levels. Research has suggested that vitamin B6 might also have a crucial duty in protecting us from conditions such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
