My next ultra run in aid of JDRF and Alexander Devine will be the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff ultra.
This will be my longest run ever (and scott who I’m running with) at 70km its not to be laughed at. As the name suggests it starts in the Brecon Beacons National Park following the River Taff. On the plus side we can eat lots of food along the way and after!
From Brecon the route heads east following the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal to Talybont-on-usk. Here the route climbs to Torpantu, from this point it is downhill all the way to the finish! Passing Pontsticill Reservoir and the Brecon Mountain Railway you arrive in Merthyr. Continuing south you will pass Aberfan and the memorial before reaching Pontypridd and finally the finish line at Nantgarw.

There’s still time to donate and help out two great causes, JDRF which is a juvenile diabetes charity and Alexander Devine which is a children’s hospice for very ill children. Follow this link to donate –
